- Brushless Motor: 6483 or 6473 with ceramic bearings
- Battery: 36V (nominal voltage) 463Wh - 10s3p - Molicell P42A
- Motor controller: VESC 75100
- Remote controller: TecnoFly Controller - (My project)
- Propeller: Carbon fiber blades - Own solution
For motor controller I used the VESC 75100 connected to my custom receiver of the TecnoFly remote controller. The receiver's processor stores many electric datas on the internal SD Card every second during the ride.
This is very important to figure out the performances or issues on the system but also the improvements of the use of the assist system.
Unmount the system from the board
In this video you can see my solution to mount the system on the dedicated board. In my opinion this is the best solution, much better then foil drive gen2
features:
- Ergonomic case in 4 parts by 3d printing
- Display OLed 1.5 inch
- Wireless communication at 2.4GHz and 433MHz (dual Band)
- Firmware upgradable by server (WiFi)
- Recording VESC data of riding in the internal memory of the receiver
- WiFi hot spot of the receiver to analize data and setting
- Wireless charge system
- Vibration alarm for battery low
There are several solutions to mount the motor on the mast, but is not easy to have one solution for all brands on the market due different mast's shape.
The pod with cable ties solution is very easy and fast. Making it in 3d printing using TPU material is possible to get a flexible motor pod to adapt much betteron the trailing edge of any mast.
